Since being given the honour of becoming reelected in 2019, I have worked day in day out to improve the lives of everyone who lives in Plymouth. From winning funds to set up a Veteran’s Gateway right here in Plymouth, to forcing the Government to do a review of Public Health settlements in Plymouth; from closing the Iraqi Historical Allegations Team abuse of our Servicemen and women, to putting Mental Health at the centre of the city’s health and wellbeing strategy; from working with business and government to achieve a 600 job investment directly into Plymouth to securing a £5m Government investment to redevelop and improve our outdated rail station.
But it’s just been two years, and I want to do more. I need your help to do it. If you want to get involved, please go to my website to find out how.

Super busy day in Plymouth with the Health Minister Helen Whately MP
Spent time at both Derriford and the Peninsula Dentist school where we’ve worked so hard of late to improve access and outcomes for patients. Thanks to all the brilliant staff who hosted us. 🙏
Great to speak at the Kings College Centre for Military Mental Health annual mental health conference. More to do, but really proud of the progress we have made in delivering clear, dedicated mental health care pathways for Veterans.. good to see so many committed partners in that mission there too 👇
If you think one piece of body armour per four soldiers in a tank in Iraq - that directly leads to British soldiers dying because of a lack of equipment, is a good record on Defence from the Labour Party then fine. I don’t. I thought it was disgraceful.
A wet but special morning on Horseguards as we started the Commonwealth War Graves Commission torch relay with D-Day Veteran Peter Kent and the Prime Minister, marking the start of 80th Anniversary commemorations of that supreme endeavour, this year. 🇬🇧
